Recent Work

2013

Research to determine feasibility of land in Gisborne for the development of an Early Years Hub for the Macedon Ranges Shire Council was undertaken. This was a community development project where by the key and secondary stakeholders were consulted on the needs of an Early Years Hub in particular regarding the suitability of the land as well as the feasibility of development of partnering arrangements or synergies. Historical research was also undertaken on the land to assist the Council in making an informed decision.

2010 - 2012

Feasibility studies to determine the requirements for the implementation of 15 hours of Preschool as part of the Commonwealth of Australian Government Policy for Universal Access for all children in the year prior to starting school within the Greater Bendigo Region.

2007 - 2012

Developed and implemented the philosophy of Child Friendly City into the City of Greater Bendigo and managed numerous projects aligned with this concept.  In addition to this provided leadership to all three tiers of Government of the notion of the importance of children as citizens in their own right.

2006 - 2012

Project managed the Soil Assessment process of 24 facilities and the subsequent remedial works if required within the Greater Bendigo Region.

2000 - 2012

  • Through community consultation developed a number of Early Years Hubs within the City of Greater Bendigo including the Helen Jessen Children’s Centre, The Annie Galvin Children’s Centre, Lightening Reef Children’s Centre, and the Marong Early Years Centre. In addition to these hubs I have project managed the extension of the Kennington Preschool.
  • Responding to community needs and project managed many minor projects within Early Years Settings from maintenance to landscaping works within the Greater Bendigo Region.
